We're Passionate About Skydiving

Our dropzone owner, Chris Hall, has that kid-at-Christmas feeling about everything skydiving and airplane related. He can vividly remember watching his Dad skydive when he was just two years old ... and can recall the agony of the long 16 years he had to wait to follow in his Dad's footsteps.

As soon as Chris came of age it was love at first flight and, as predicted, skydiving and aviation became his life. Today, Chris has more than 5,000 jumps and a list of skydiving and pilot ratings as long as your arm. His passion and credentials have taken him to dropzones and skydiving competitions across the country, even to the ESPN X games Pro Tour back in 1996!

After jumping at big and small DZs across the US, Chris returned home to open Skydive Kansas City in 1998. He took the best of what he'd experienced along his travels and committed to opening one of the best dropzones in the country. Almost 1,500 five-star reviews later, he's still living the dream with both eyes open.

We Value Safety First, Always

If you encounter bargain basement prices for skydiving, buyer beware! Rock-bottom prices suggest that corners are being cut somewhere ... and cut corners and skydiving aren't a good mix. In the same way you wouldn't choose a brain surgeon based on price, you shouldn't choose a dropzone with that criteria either! Cheapest does not mean best!

Our 25 years of flying high and having a ton of fun have everything to do with our uncompromising standards of safety and excellence.

We take meticulous care of our aircraft, hire only highly-trained and experienced instructors, and purchase (and maintain) top-of-the-line equipment and gear. All of this costs a pretty penny - and that's why skydiving is expensive.
